Exploring the Innovative Design and Unique Features of Pizza Marzano Select

The inspiration behind Pizza Marzano Select's design is as intriguing as it is innovative. The geometric form of pizza slices, a symbol of sharing and community, served as the primary concept for the overall design. The designers at JYDP have artfully incorporated this concept into the space, creating a unique, chic, and playful environment that resonates with the brand's spirit.

One of the unique features of this design is the flexible element that can be easily adjusted according to location and time. This element, a feature wall adorned with thousands of blue acrylic sticks, adds a dynamic and engaging aspect to the restaurant's aesthetics. The brand's colors are consistently applied throughout the space, from fixtures to soft furnishings, enhancing brand recognition and creating a strong modern 2D geometric scenario.

Technical specifications of the design reveal a meticulous attention to detail. The half-circle shape, derived from the core pizza geometry concept, is applied throughout the interior, from the open-faced structure to the kitchen walls. Operational fixtures like the POS station, partition, takeaway stand, and storage cabinet are seamlessly integrated into the space, rather than being standalone functional fixtures.

The restaurant is designed to cater to a wide range of customers, from families to youth. A variety of flexible tables are incorporated into the layout, accommodating groups of varying sizes. The seating area guides the customer flow, allowing patrons to easily choose their preferred seating location. This thoughtful design interaction enhances the overall customer experience.

Despite the challenges of incorporating large-scale curved shapes into different areas with custom materials on a limited budget, JYDP successfully delivered a design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The project, located in Shanghai, was completed within a span of two months, from October to December 2019.
